An Ancient and Occult Genetic Code

This one has some interesting data. However, I think his main mistake was:

"I thought that maybe I could compare the symbols, images, and concepts in the Tarot trumps with the corresponding contents of the I Ching kua. Then, if there are enough similarities, I could assign each of the trumps to a group of I Ching kua. The result would be a Hebrew letter assignment for each amino acid and punctuation codon in the genetic code."

Because the end result will rely too much on exegetical sources. It didn't help much that he picked up a Tarot deck from a black magician which was trying to rewrite all occult knowledge to his own fashion.

Yi-Globe

"The Yi-globe is a relatively new configuration in the history of the I Ching (Yijing, Book of Changes)[*]. It is a spherical structure constructed from the 64 hexagrams, and as such, in all probability, it represented the Chinese cosmology in the mythical past. This arrangement of the hexagrams perfectly reflects the image of the world: as Chinese people imagined the origin, the make-up, and the operation of the universe sometime before the first millennium BC. This latent (perhaps secret or purposely hidden, or simply lost or forgotten) cosmic order is fully revealed and reconstructed in this study. The whole work is based on the words of the I Ching, and can be verified easily by reading the book.
[*] Practically the same form was published in Lothar Teikemeier's book, in the "Lyra, I-Ging gleich Tarot" in 1998 (Holos Verlag) and even in private edition, in 1988. He created this arrangement on the basis of special mathematical principles and named it 'ichingsphere'. The author used it to demonstrate certain relations between the Tarot and the I Ching. In the Yi-globe the hexagrams have been arranged according to another, independent method: following the Taoist principles and the words of the I Ching. It deserves attention that the resulting forms still coincide with each other. On this site the Taoist method comes to the fore and the new, inner qualities of the sphere are disclosed and analyzed."

"This new bioinformatics research bridges Genomics and Mathematics. We propose a universal "Fractal Genome Code Law": The frequency of each of the 64 codons across the entire human genome is controlled by the codon's position in the Universal Genetic Code table. We analyze the frequency of distribution of the 64 codons (codon usage) within single-stranded DNA sequences. Concatenating 24 Human chromosomes, we show that the entire human genome employs the well known universal genetic code table as a macro structural model. The position of each codon within this table precisely dictates its population."

A mechanism for the association of amino acids with their codons and the origin of the genetic code

The genetic code has certain regularities that have resisted mechanistic interpretation. These include strong correlations between the first base of codons and the precursor from which the encoded amino acid is synthesized and between the second base of codons and the hydrophobicity of the encoded amino acid. These regularities are even more striking in a projection of the modern code onto a simpler code consisting of doublet codons encoding a set of simple amino acids. These regularities can be explained if, before the emergence of macromolecules, simple amino acids were synthesized in covalent complexes of dinucleotides with α-keto acids originating from the reductive tricarboxylic acid cycle or reductive acetate pathway. The bases and phosphates of the dinucleotide are proposed to have enhanced the rates of synthetic reactions leading to amino acids in a small-molecule reaction network that preceded the RNA translation apparatus but created an association between amino acids and the first two bases of their codons that was retained when translation emerged later in evolution.
